Test

We have adorned the earth to test which of them is best in deeds.

18:7Lo! We have placed all that is on the earth as an ornament thereof that We may try them: which of them is best in conduct.

And We will turn all that is upon it into barren dust.

18:8And lo! We shall make all that is thereon a barren mound.

The disbelievers say, “You are not a messenger.” Say, “Allah is sufficient as a witness between me and you, and so are those who have knowledge of the Scripture.”

13:43They who disbelieve say: Thou art no messenger (of Allah). Say: Allah, and whosoever hath knowledge of the Scripture, is sufficient witness between me and you.

If only they had been content with what Allah and His Messenger gave them and said, “Allah is sufficient for us. He will grant us from His bounty, and so will His Messenger. To Allah alone we turn with hope.”

9:59(How much more seemly) had they been content with that which Allah and His messenger had given them and had said: Allah sufficeth us. Allah will give us of His bounty, and (also) His messenger. Unto Allah we are suppliants.
