Resurrected

Yet these people say

44:34Lo! these, forsooth, are saying:

“There is nothing but our first death; we will not be resurrected.

44:35There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again.

Bring back our ancestors, if you are truthful.”

44:36Bring back our fathers, if ye speak the truth!

And the disbeliever says, “When I die, will I be brought back to life?”

19:66And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive?

Does man not remember that We created him before, when he was nothing?

19:67Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught?

We created them only with truth, but most of them do not know.

44:39We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not.

Thus will you be resurrected.

43:11And Who sendeth down water from the sky in (due) measure, and We revive a dead land therewith. Even so will ye be brought forth;

They marvel that a warner has come from among them. The disbelievers say, “This is a strange thing!”

50:2Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing:

“When we are dead and turned to dust, shall we be brought back? That would be a far return indeed.”

50:3When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return!

We know what the earth consumes of them, and with Us is a preserving record.

50:4We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book.

But they called the truth a lie when it came to them, so they are in confusion.

50:5Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case.

When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, will we really be raised again?

37:16When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)?

And our forefathers, too?”

37:17And our forefathers?

Say: “Yes indeed, and you will be humbled.”

37:18Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low.

It will only take one blast, and suddenly, they will be staring.

37:19There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold,

They say, “When we are bones and dust, will we truly be resurrected?”

17:49And they say: When we are bones and fragments, shall we forsooth, be raised up as a new creation?

17:98That is their reward because they disbelieved Our revelations and said: When we are bones and fragments shall we, forsooth, be raised up as a new creation?

Say, “Even if you were stone or iron.”

17:50Say: Be ye stones or iron

Or even something greater in your thoughts! Yet they will ask, “Who will bring us back?” Say, “The One who created you the first time.” Then they will shake their heads at you and say, “When will that be?” Say, “Perhaps it is near.”

17:51Or some created thing that is yet greater in your thoughts! Then they will say: Who shall bring us back (to life). Say: He Who created you at the first. Then will they shake their heads at thee, and say: When will it be? Say: It will perhaps be soon;

On the Day He calls you, you will respond with praise, thinking you had only stayed a short while.

17:52A day when He will call you and ye will answer with His praise, and ye will think that ye have tarried but a little while.

So, they will deny you in what you say, and you can neither avert nor help.

25:19Thus they will give you the lie regarding what ye say, then ye can neither avert (the doom) nor obtain help. And whoso among you doeth wrong, We shall make him taste great torment.

But they say what the ancients said:

23:81Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old;

“When we die and become dust and bones, will we really be resurrected?

23:82They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again?

They will say, “To Allah.” Say: “Then will you not remember?”

23:85They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember?

They will say, “Allah.” Say: “Then will you not be mindful?”

23:87They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)?

They say, “Will we really be restored to our former state?

79:10(Now) they are saying: Shall we really be restored to our first state

Even after we have become decayed bones?”

79:11Even after we are crumbled bones?

They say, “Then this would be a losing return!”

79:12They say: Then that would be a vain proceeding.

But it will only take one blast

79:13Surely it will need but one shout,

And suddenly, they will be awake.

79:14And lo! they will be awakened.

Then He caused him to die and be buried.

80:21Then causeth him to die, and burieth him;

Then, when He wills, He will resurrect him.

80:22Then, when He will, He bringeth him again to life.

But no! He has not fulfilled what He was commanded.

80:23Nay, but (man) hath not done what He commanded him.

The disbelievers say, “Shall we show you a man who claims that once you are completely disintegrated, you will be raised anew?”

34:7Those who disbelieve say: Shall we show you a man who will tell you (that) when ye have become dispersed in dust with most complete dispersal still, even then, ye will be created anew?

They are lifeless, not living, and they do not know when they will be resurrected.

16:21(They are) dead, not living. And they know not when they will be raised.

Those who disbelieve claim they will not be resurrected. Say, “Yes indeed, by my Lord, you will be resurrected, then informed of what you did.

64:7Those who disbelieve assert that they will not be raised again. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Yea, verily, by my Lord! ye will be raised again and then ye will be informed of what ye did; and that is easy for Allah.

He strikes up arguments about Us, forgetting his own creation. He says, “Who will bring bones back to life after they’ve decayed?”

36:78And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away?

Say: “The One who created them the first time will bring them back. He knows every kind of creation.”

36:79Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation,

He is the One who made fire for you from green trees, so you kindle flames from them.

36:80Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it.

Is not the One who created the heavens and the earth able to create the likes of them again?

36:81Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator,
