Purpose

These are Allah’s signs, which We recite to you in truth. You are indeed one of the messengers.

Just as We sent among you a messenger from your own people, reciting Our revelations, purifying you, teaching you the Book and wisdom, and instructing you in what you did not know.

This Quran could not have been fabricated; it is a confirmation of what came before and a detailed explanation of the Book. There is no doubt, it is from the Lord of all worlds.

Allah has revealed the Book and wisdom to you and taught you what you did not know. His favour upon you is immense.

Indeed, in their stories is a profound lesson for those of understanding.

We have revealed the Book to you in truth, confirming what came before and safeguarding it. So, judge among them by what Allah has revealed

A guide, warning of severe punishment from Him and bringing good news to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will have an excellent reward.

Those who have received the Scripture and recite it as it should be recited, these are the ones who truly believe in it.

We revealed the Book to clarify all things, a guide, mercy, and good news for those who submit.

This is a Book We have revealed to you so that, by your Lord’s permission, you may lead people from darkness into light, to the path of the Almighty.

But you will not will, for those who seek the straight path.

This Quran guides to what is most upright and gives good news to the believers who do righteous deeds, that they will have a great reward.

Whoever follows guidance does so for his own benefit, and whoever goes astray does so to his own loss.

O Messenger! Convey all that has been revealed to you from your Lord. If you do not, then you have not fulfilled your mission.

Say, “What testimony is the greatest?” Say, “Allah is Witness between you and me. This Quran has been revealed to me so that I may warn you and whomever it reaches. Do you truly testify that there are other gods besides Allah?” Say, “I do not testify to that.” Say, “He is the One and Only God, and I am free from your associations.”

The month of Ramadan is when the Quran was revealed.

It is nothing but a reminder for all worlds.

No! This is truly a reminder.

This is a reminder, so let whoever wills take a path to their Lord.

Let whoever wills take heed.

But they will not remember unless Allah wills. He is worthy of reverence and worthy of granting forgiveness.

Is it not enough for them that We have sent down to you the Book, which is recited to them? In it is mercy and a reminder for those who believe.

A light and a clear Book have come from Allah.

Through it, Allah guides those who seek His pleasure to paths of peace, bringing them from darkness into light by His will.

Is one who possesses a clear proof from his Lord, supported by a witness from Him, and preceded by the Book of Moses, a guide and mercy, like one who rejects it? Those who believe in it will find truth.

Those who are faithful to Allah will have ranks of honour with Him.

This is a message for humanity, to warn them, to make them realize that He is the One Allah.

Surely in this is a message for a people who worship.

If We had sent this Quran down upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and shattered from awe of Allah. These are the parables We set forth for people so they may reflect.
