Magic

We granted Moses nine clear signs, ask the Children of Israel. When he came to them, Pharaoh said, “Moses, I think you are bewitched.”

When the truth came to them from Us, they said, “This is clear sorcery.”

Moses said, “Do you call the truth sorcery when it has come to you? Is this sorcery? Sorcerers never succeed.”

When Allah will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary, I shielded you from the harm of the Children of Israel when you came to them with clear signs, yet the disbelievers among them said, ‘This is nothing but sorcery.’

And when Jesus, son of Mary, said, “O Children of Israel, I am Allah’s messenger to you, confirming the Torah before me and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad.” But when he came to them with clear signs, they said, “This is obvious sorcery.”

Even if We had sent down a Book on parchment, and they touched it with their own hands, the disbelievers would still say, “This is nothing but sorcery.”

Is it surprising to people that We sent revelation to a man among them, saying, “Warn humanity and give good news to the believers that they stand firm with their Lord”? Yet the disbelievers say, “This is clearly sorcery.”

Yet if you say, “You will be resurrected after death,” the disbelievers will say, “This is nothing but sorcery.”

We know best what they listen to when they secretly conspire, the wrongdoers say, “You follow only a bewitched man.”

Yet if they see a sign, they turn away and say, “Continuous magic.”

Even if We opened for them a gateway to the heavens, allowing them to ascend continuously

They would still say, “Our eyes are hallucinating; we are bewitched.”

Likewise, no messenger came to those before them but they said, “A sorcerer or a madman.”

And the disbelievers say of the truth when it comes to them, “This is nothing but obvious magic.”

The Day they are shoved into the Fire of Hell with force:

“This is the Fire you used to deny.

Is this magic? Or do you still not see?
