And it is inscribed with Us in the Mother of the Book.

Allah erases or confirms what He wills, and with Him is the Master Record.

This is the Book, without doubt, a guide for those mindful of Allah.

These are the verses of the Book, full of wisdom.

That this is a noble Quran

By the glorious Qur’an

Inscribed on honoured pages.

This is a blessed Book We have sent down, so they may reflect upon its verses, and those of understanding may take heed.

And this is a blessed reminder We have sent down, will you then reject it?

And this is a blessed Book We have sent down, confirming what came before it, so that you may warn the central city and those around it.

This is enlightenment from your Lord, and guidance and mercy for those who believe.”

Exalted and purified.

Touched only by the purified.

If there were a Quran by which mountains moved, the earth split, or the dead spoke, it would be this one. But all matters belong to Allah.

In a well-preserved record

Inscribed in a preserved tablet.

Indeed, We have revealed the Reminder, and We are its guardian.

No one can alter Allah’s words.

Allah’s words never change

The word of your Lord is perfected in truth and justice; none can alter His words.

Allah has sent down the best of speech, a Book consistent in its teachings, with alternating themes that make the hearts of those who fear their Lord tremble.

We narrate to you the best of stories through this revelation, though before it, you were unaware.

This is a decisive word

Not to be taken lightly.

And this is a confirming Book in the Arabic tongue, to warn the wrongdoers and bring good news to those who do good.

So, We have made it easy in your language, so that you may give good news to the righteous and warn a hostile people.

A Quran in Arabic, free of distortion, so they may become mindful.

Thus, We revealed it as a decisive command in Arabic.

In a clear Arabic tongue.

We have revealed it as an Arabic Quran so that you may understand.

We have made it an Arabic Quran so that you may understand.

And it is inscribed with Us in the Mother of the Book, exalted and full of wisdom.

Thus, We revealed to you an Arabic Quran, so that you may warn the central city and those around it, and forewarn of the Day of Gathering, beyond doubt, a group destined for the Garden, and a group for the Blaze.

Had We made it a non-Arabic Quran, they would have said, “Why are its verses unclear? An Arabic message for an Arab people?” Say, “It is guidance and healing for those who believe.
