Those Who Will be Saved

We said, 'Descend from here, all of you. But when guidance comes to you from Me, those who follow it will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

Indeed, those who believe, along with the Jews, Christians, and Sabians, whoever truly believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good, will have their reward with their Lord. They will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

No! Whoever submits to Allah with sincerity and does good will have their reward with their Lord. They will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

Righteousness is not merely turning your faces toward the east or west. True righteousness is in one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets, and who gives wealth, despite loving it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, travellers, and those who ask for help, and for freeing slaves. It is in those who establish prayer, give charity, fulfil their promises, and remain patient in hardship and adversity. These are the truthful ones, and they are the truly righteous.

Those who give in charity and do not follow it with reminders or harm will have their reward with their Lord, no fear shall be upon them, nor shall they grieve.

Those who spend their wealth in charity, day and night, secretly and openly, will have their reward with their Lord. They will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

Those who believe, do good deeds, establish prayer, and give charity will have their reward with their Lord. They will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

Yet they are not all alike, among the People of the Book are those who stand in devotion, reciting Allah’s verses at night and bowing in prayer.

They believe in Allah and the Last Day, enjoin good, forbid evil, and hasten to do righteous deeds. These are among the righteous.

Do not say of those slain in Allah’s cause, ‘They are dead.’ Rather, they are alive, though you do not perceive it.

Among the People of the Book are those who truly believe in Allah and what was revealed to you and to them. They humble themselves before Allah and do not trade His signs for a fleeting gain. Their reward is with their Lord, surely, Allah is swift in reckoning.

But those among them who are firm in knowledge and faith, who believe in what was revealed to you and before you, who establish prayer, give charity, and believe in Allah and the Last Day, these will receive a great reward.

Indeed, those who believe, the Jews, the Sabians, and the Christians, whoever truly believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good, will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

We send messengers only as bearers of good news and warnings. Those who believe and reform will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

O children of Adam! If messengers come to you, reciting My signs, then whoever is mindful and reforms will have no fear nor grief.

The only ones who maintain Allah’s places of worship are those who believe in Him and the Last Day, establish prayer, give charity, and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be rightly guided.

But among the desert Arabs are those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and consider what they spend as a means of nearness to Allah and the Messenger’s prayers. Indeed, it brings them closer; Allah will admit them into His mercy.

Indeed, the allies of Allah will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

Whoever seeks a way other than submission to Allah, it will never be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter, they will be among the losers.
