Eating and Drinking in Paradise

They will savour exquisite fruits and drinks.

“Eat and drink with joy for what you used to do.”

“Eat and drink in peace for what you used to do.”

We will supply them with fruit and meat, whatever they desire.

Silver vessels will be passed around them, and goblets clear as crystal.

Crystal clear, made of silver, perfectly measured to their desire.

Platters of gold and cups will be passed among them, and in them will be whatever the soul desires and the eyes delight in.

Their Lord will give them a pure drink.

A cup will be passed around them from a flowing spring

A spring from which Allah’s servants drink, making it flow wherever they wish.

From a spring there called Salsabil.

They will pass around a cup among themselves, free of idle talk and sin.

With goblets, pitchers, and a flowing drink

Served with pure, sealed drink.

The righteous will drink from a cup infused with camphor.

They will be given a drink mixed with ginger.

White, delicious to those who drink it.

Free from intoxication and harm.

Except for Allah’s devoted servants.

For them is a known provision.

Fruits, and they will be honoured.

They will call for every kind of fruit, in peace and safety.

They will have every kind of fruit and forgiveness from their Lord.

They will have fruits and whatever they desire.

Whenever they are given fruit as provision, they will say, ‘This is what we were provided before,’ and they will receive similar blessings.

You will have abundant fruit to eat.

In them are fruits of every kind, in pairs.

And the fruits of both gardens will be within easy reach.

In them are fruits, date palms, and pomegranates.

Gardens and vineyards.

Banana trees with layered fruit.

Its fruits hanging low and near.

never out of reach nor forbidden.

Its food is everlasting.

We will supply them with meat, whatever they desire.
