Nearing Death

It is prescribed that when death approaches any of you, if they leave behind wealth, they should make a fair will for parents and close relatives. This is a duty upon the righteous.

2:180It is prescribed for you, when death approacheth one of you, if he leave wealth, that he bequeath unto parents and near relatives in kindness. (This is) a duty for all those who ward off (evil).

Spend from what We have provided you before death comes to one of you, and he says, “My Lord, if only You would delay me for a little while, I would give in charity and be among the righteous.”

63:10And spend of that wherewith We have provided you before death cometh unto one of you and he saith: My Lord! If only thou wouldst reprieve me for a little while, then I would give alms and be among the righteous.

But Allah will never delay a soul when its time has come.

63:11But Allah reprieveth no soul when its term cometh, and Allah is Informed of what ye do.

O believers, spend from what We have provided for you before the Day comes when there will be no bargaining, no friendship, and no intercession. The disbelievers are the true wrongdoers.

2:254O ye who believe! spend of that wherewith We have provided you ere a day come when there will be no trafficking, nor friendship, nor intercession. The disbelievers, they are the wrong-doers.

14:31Tell My bondmen who believe to establish worship and spend of that which We have given them, secretly and publicly, before a day cometh wherein there will be neither traffick nor befriending.

69:35Therefor hath he no lover here this day,
