Interest
O believers, do not consume interest, multiplying it many times over.
3:130O ye who believe! Devour not usury, doubling and quadrupling (the sum lent). Observe your duty to Allah, that ye may be successful.
But those who consume interest will rise on Judgment Day like one possessed by Satan. That is because they claim, ‘Trade is just like interest,’ but Allah has forbidden interest and permitted trade. Whoever receives this warning and stops may keep what was earned in the past; Allah will judge them. But those who persist will be companions of the Fire, where they will remain forever.
2:275Those who swallow usury cannot rise up save as he ariseth whom the devil hath prostrated by (his) touch. That is because they say: Trade is just like usury; whereas Allah permitteth trading and forbiddeth usury. He unto whom an admonition from his Lord cometh, and (he) refraineth (in obedience thereto), he shall keep (the profits of) that which is past, and his affair (henceforth) is with Allah. As for him who returneth (to usury) - Such are rightful owners of the Fire. They will abide therein.
Allah erases interest.
2:276Allah hath blighted usury and made almsgiving fruitful. Allah loveth not the impious and guilty.
O believers, be mindful of Allah and give up any remaining interest, if you are truly faithful.
2:278O ye who believe! Observe your duty to Allah, and give up what remaineth (due to you) from usury, if ye are (in truth) believers.
Say: “Whatever reward I might ask of you, it is yours. My reward is only with Allah.”
34:47Say: Whatever reward I might have asked of you is yours. My reward is the affair of Allah only. He is Witness over all things.
If you do not, then be warned of war from Allah and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may keep your principal, do not wrong others, and you will not be wronged.
2:279And if ye do not, then be warned of war (against you) from Allah and His messenger. And if ye repent, then ye have your principal (without interest). Wrong not, and ye shall not be wronged.
