Seeing Hell

They will not believe until they see the painful punishment.

26:201They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom,

If even a breath of your Lord’s punishment touches them, they will cry, “Woe to us! We were wrongdoers.”

21:46And if a breath of thy Lord's punishment were to touch them, they assuredly would say: Alas for us! Lo! we were wrong-doers.

When they saw Our punishment, they cried, "We believe in Allah alone and reject what we had been associating with Him!"

40:84Then, when they saw Our doom, they said: We believe in Allah only and reject (all) that we used to associate (with Him).

But their faith was of no benefit once they witnessed Our punishment. This has always been Allah’s way with His servants; the disbelievers were utterly lost.

40:85But their faith could not avail them when they saw Our doom. This is Allah's law which hath ever taken course for His bondmen. And then the disbelievers will be ruined.

If every wrongdoer possessed all the wealth on earth, they would offer it as ransom. They will hide their regret when they see the punishment. Judgment will be passed with justice, and they will not be wronged.

10:54And if each soul that doeth wrong had all that is in the earth it would seek to ransom itself therewith; and they will feel remorse within them, when they see the doom. But it hath been judged between them fairly and they are not wronged.

On the Day when those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire: “Is this not the truth?” They will say, “Yes, by our Lord.”

46:34And on the day when those who disbelieve are exposed to the Fire (they will be asked): Is not this real? They will say: Yea, by our Lord. He will say: Then taste the doom for that ye disbelieved.

Allah said, “Soon they’ll regret it.”

23:40He said: In a little while they surely will become repentant.
