Judgement

And the messengers are gathered at their appointed time.

To which day is all this deferred?

To the Day of Judgement.

And what will make you grasp what the Day of Decision is?

Truly, the Day of Judgement is appointed.

And the stupor of death comes in truth, “This is what you were trying to avoid.”

Every soul will come forth with a driver and a witness.

“You were heedless of this, but now We have lifted your veil, and your sight today is sharp.”

The sky flung open, becoming gateways

Indeed, Hell lies in ambush.

A home for the transgressors.

You will see every community kneeling, every nation summoned to its record: “Today you are repaid for what you used to do.”

This is Our Book, it speaks against you in truth. We used to record all that you did.

But step aside today, you who were steeped in guilt.

So, on that Day, they will all share in the punishment.

This is Hell, which the guilty denied.

This is how We deal with the guilty.

When all will stand before the Lord of the worlds?

Allah will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection regarding what you used to differ about.

He punishes whom He wills and forgives whom He wills

Be mindful of the day when you will return to Allah, and every soul will be repaid in full for what it has done, none will be wronged.

Then, We will extract from every group those most defiant against the Most Merciful.

We have decreed death among you, and none can outrun Our will.

We could replace you with others, transforming you into what you do not know.

And We know best who deserves to burn in it.

And every one of you will pass over it; this is a decree from your Lord.

My word cannot be changed, and I do not wrong the servants.”

Then We will save those who were mindful and leave the wrongdoers there, on their knees.

On that Day, Allah will give them their full due.

And for those who did wrong, there is a punishment besides that, but most of them do not know.

Ruin awaits the disbelievers, and He will nullify their deeds.

He finds Allah there, who settles his account.

They did not expect to be held accountable
