Muhammad
Then it will be said to the wrongdoers, “Taste the punishment of eternity. Are you repaid for anything except what you earned?”
10:52Then will it be said unto those who dealt unjustly Taste the torment of eternity. Are ye requited aught save what ye used to earn?
They ask you, “Is it true?” Say, “Yes, by my Lord, it is true, and you cannot escape it.”
10:53And they ask thee to inform them (saying): Is it true? Say: Yea, by my Lord, verily it is true, and ye cannot escape.
Say, "I fear the punishment of a dreadful Day if I disobey my Lord."
6:15Say: I fear, if I rebel against my Lord, the retribution of an Awful Day.
39:13Say: Lo! if I should disobey my Lord, I fear the doom of a tremendous Day.
Say: “I advise you of one thing only: stand up for Allah, in pairs or alone, and reflect. Your companion is not mad.
34:46Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I exhort you unto one thing only: that ye awake, for Allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then reflect: There is no madness in your comrade. He is naught else than a warner unto you in face of a terrific doom.
So be patient, as the messengers of firm resolve were patient. And do not be hasty for them. On the Day they see what they are promised, it will be as if they had not remained but an hour of a day. This is a message. Will any be destroyed except the defiantly ungrateful?
46:35Then have patience (O Muhammad) even as the stout of heart among the messengers (of old) had patience, and seek not to hasten on (the doom) for them. On the day when they see that which they are promised (it will seem to them) as though they had tarried but an hour of daylight. A clear message. Shall any be destroyed save evil-living folk?
We have certainly tested you, but had it not been for Our mercy, you would have inclined toward them slightly.
17:74And if We had not made thee wholly firm thou mightest almost have inclined unto them a little.
Had you done so, We would have made you taste double the punishment in life and double after death.
17:75Then had we made thee taste a double (punishment) of living and a double (punishment) of dying, then hadst thou found no helper against Us.
Have you not seen those who were forbidden secret meetings yet persist in them, whispering about sin, hostility, and defiance of the Messenger? When they approach you, they greet you in a way Allah has not decreed, and they say to themselves, “Why does Allah not punish us for what we say?”
58:8Hast thou not observed those who were forbidden conspiracy and afterward returned to that which they had been forbidden, and (now) conspire together for crime and wrongdoing and disobedience toward the messenger? And when they come unto thee they greet thee with a greeting wherewith Allah greeteth thee not, and say within themselves: Why should Allah punish us for what we say? Hell will suffice them; they will feel the heat thereof - a hapless journey's end!
When Our clear verses are recited to them, those who do not expect to meet Us say, “Bring a different Quran or change it.” Say, “It is not for me to change it on my own. I only follow what is revealed to me. If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a dreadful day.”
10:15And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, they who look not for the meeting with Us say: Bring a Lecture other than this, or change it. Say (O Muhammad): It is not for me to change it of my accord. I only follow that which is inspired in me. Lo! if I disobey my Lord I fear the retribution of an awful Day.
They were the ones who disbelieved and barred you from the Sacred Mosque, and prevented the sacrificial animals from reaching their place of offering. Had it not been for believing men and women whom you did not know, lest you unknowingly trample them and become guilty without realizing, it would have been permitted. Allah brings into His mercy whomever He wills.
48:25These it was who disbelieved and debarred you from the Inviolable Place of Worship, and debarred the offering from reaching its goal. And if it had not been for believing men and believing women, whom ye know not - lest ye should tread them under foot and thus incur guilt for them unknowingly; that Allah might bring into His mercy whom He will - If (the believers and the disbelievers) had been clearly separated We verily had punished those of them who disbelieved with painful punishment.
