And remember Our servant Job, when he cried to his Lord, “Suffering has touched me, but You are the Most Merciful.”

So We told him, “Strike the ground with your foot, here is cool water to wash and drink.”

And We restored his family to him, and more besides, as a mercy from Us and a lesson for those who reflect.

“Take a handful of grass and strike with it, but do not break your oath.” We found him patient, what an excellent servant! He was ever turning to Us.
