Unbelievers

O believers! Remember Allah’s favour upon you when a people sought to harm you, but He held them back. So be mindful of Allah, and let the faithful place their trust in Him.

O you who believe, if a troublemaker brings you news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance and later regret what you’ve done.

Thus, We test some through others, so they may say, “Are these the ones whom Allah has favoured among us?” Does Allah not know best who is grateful?

Say: “You will not be asked about our crimes, nor will we be asked about what you do.”

Say: “Our Lord will gather us together, then judge between us in truth.

As for the believers, Jews, Sabeans, Christians, Magians, and polytheists, Allah will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection.

O believers! Do not take allies from among those who mock your way, whether from the People of the Book or the disbelievers.

You will find the fiercest in hostility toward believers to be the Jews and polytheists, while the closest in affection are those who say, “We are Christians.” This is because among them are priests and monks who are humble.

Do not argue with the People of the Book except in the best manner, unless they are unjust. Say, “We believe in what was revealed to us and to you, our Allah and your Allah is one, and to Him we submit.”

You who believe, shall I guide you to a trade that will save you from a painful punishment?

Except for those who repent, mend their ways, hold fast to Allah, and sincerely devote their faith to Him, such will be counted among the believers, and Allah will grant them a great reward.

If not for the grace of my Lord, I would have been among those dragged down.”

“Are we really never going to die

Except for our first death, and never be punished?”

Truly, this is the ultimate triumph.

For this, let all who strive, strive.

We fear from our Lord a Day of grim and bitter anguish.”

So, Allah will shield them from the harm of that Day, and grant them radiance and joy.

And in whose wealth is a known share

For the beggar and the deprived

And those who affirm the Day of Judgment

But the most devout will be spared
