Rightly Guided
Believers, when you are told to make room in gatherings, do so, and Allah will make room for you. When you are told to rise, then rise. Allah will elevate those among you who believe and those given knowledge. He is fully aware of what you do.
58:11O ye who believe! when it is said unto you, Make room! in assemblies, then make room; Allah will make way for you (hereafter). And when it is said, Come up higher! go up higher; Allah will exalt those who believe among you, and those who have knowledge, to high ranks. Allah is Informed of what ye do.
I respond to the call of the supplicant when they call upon Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me, so that they may be rightly guided.
2:186And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright.
Do not turn away those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His pleasure. You are not accountable for them, nor are they accountable for you. If you were to dismiss them, you would be among the unjust.
6:52Repel not those who call upon their Lord at morn and evening, seeking His Countenance. Thou art not accountable for them in aught, nor are they accountable for thee in aught, that thou shouldst repel them and be of the wrong-doers.
Those who listen to the word and follow the best of it are the ones whom Allah has guided, and they are the people of understanding.
39:18Who hear advice and follow the best thereof. Such are those whom Allah guideth, and such are men of understanding.
Who is better in speech than one who calls to Allah, does righteousness, and says, “I am among those who submit”?
41:33And who is better in speech than him who prayeth unto his Lord and doeth right, and saith: Lo! I am of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him).
‘Our Lord, we have heard a caller inviting us to faith, saying, “Believe in your Lord,” and we have believed. So, forgive our sins, erase our misdeeds, and grant us a righteous end.’
3:193Our Lord! Lo! we have heard a crier calling unto Faith: "Believe ye in your Lord!" So we believed. Our Lord! Therefor forgive us our sins, and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous.
These were the ones guided by Allah, so follow their guidance. Say, “I ask no reward for this; it is only a reminder for all people.”
6:90Those are they whom Allah guideth, so follow their guidance. Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for it. Lo! it is naught but a Reminder to (His) creatures.
Do the believers not realize that had He willed, He could have guided all people?
13:31Had it been possible for a Lecture to cause the mountains to move, or the earth to be torn asunder, or the dead to speak, (this Qur'an would have done so). Nay, but Allah's is the whole command. Do not those who believe know that, had Allah willed, He could have guided all mankind? As for those who disbelieve, disaster ceaseth not to strike them because of what they do, or it dwelleth near their home until the threat of Allah come to pass. Lo! Allah faileth not to keep the tryst.
They pray, ‘Our Lord, do not let our hearts stray after You have guided us. Grant us mercy from Yourself.
3:8Our Lord! Cause not our hearts to stray after Thou hast guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Thy Presence. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Bestower.
