Satan

Iblees said, “Because You have led me astray, I will make disobedience alluring to them on earth, and I will mislead them all,”

But why did they not humble themselves when Our punishment came? Instead, their hearts hardened, and Satan made their deeds seem fair to them.

Satan makes grand promises, filling hearts with illusions, but his pledges are nothing but deception.

Satan only commands you to commit evil and indecency and to say about Allah what you do not know.

If a whisper from Satan provokes you, seek refuge in Allah

Satan has overtaken them, making them forget Allah. They are allies of Satan, and indeed, Satan’s allies are the true losers.

Those who are mindful of Allah, when touched by a temptation from Satan, remember Him, and suddenly they see clearly.

But their allies, the devils, drag them deeper into error, and they do not stop.

Satan threatens you with poverty and commands you to commit indecency, while Allah promises you forgiveness and abundance.

If not for Allah’s grace and mercy, you would have followed Satan, except for a few.

When you recite the Quran, seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed.

He has no authority over those who believe and trust in their Lord.

And Satan will say when the matter is settled, “Allah gave you a true promise, but I deceived you. I had no authority over you except to invite, and you responded. So do not blame me, blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me.

Yet he had no authority over them, only that We might distinguish those who believe in the Hereafter from those in doubt.

His influence is only over those who take him as an ally and those who associate others with Allah.

O humanity, eat from what is lawful and good on the earth, and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. He is your sworn enemy.

Iblis proved his assumption about them true; they followed him, except for a group of true believers.

Whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has suffered a tremendous loss.

Yet he led many of you astray. Didn’t you use your reason?

Satan wishes to lead them far astray.

He led me away from the Reminder after it had come to me.” Satan always betrays humanity.

Indeed, those who turned away on the day the two armies met were made to slip by Satan due to their past deeds. But Allah has forgiven them.

It is Satan who instills fear in his allies, do not fear them, but fear Me if you are true believers.

So, battle against the allies of Satan; his schemes are weak.

O people, Allah’s promise is true, so don’t let the life of this world deceive you, and don’t let the Deceiver pull you away from Allah.

Satan is your enemy; treat him as such. He only invites his followers to be among the companions of the Blaze.

and the deceiver led you astray.”

Surely, Satan stirs discord among them. Satan is a clear enemy to humanity.

Today, he is their ally, and they will face a painful punishment.

Those who turn back after guidance has been made clear to them, Satan has enticed them and prolonged false hopes for them.

That is because they said to those who detest what Allah revealed, “We will obey you in some matters.”

The wasteful are the brothers of Satan, and Satan is ever ungrateful to his Lord.

They call upon nothing but female deities and invoke none but Satan, the rebellious.

Allah has cursed him, and he said, “I will surely take a portion of Your servants.”

“I will mislead them, fill them with false hopes, and command them to slit the ears of cattle and alter Allah’s creation.” Whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has suffered a tremendous loss.

O believers! Intoxicants, gambling, idolatrous offerings, and divining arrows are vile works of Satan, so avoid them that you may succeed.

Satan seeks to sow enmity and hatred among you through wine and gambling, and to turn you away from remembrance of Allah and prayer. Will you not then refrain?

But those who consume interest will rise on Judgment Day like one possessed by Satan.

And when your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human being from refined clay, shaped from darkened mud,”

“And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My spirit, then bow down before him.”

And when We said to the angels, “Bow to Adam,”

So, the angels all prostrated together

Except Iblees, he refused to be among those who bowed.

Allah said, “O Iblees, what has kept you from joining those who prostrate?”

Allah said, “Descend from here! It is not for you to be arrogant within it. Leave, for you are among the disgraced.”

“And upon you is the curse until the Day of Judgment.”

He said, “Grant me respite until the Day they are resurrected.”

Allah said, “You are among those given respite.”

“Until the appointed time.”

He said, “Because You have led me astray, I will lie in wait for them on Your straight path.

He said, “Do You see this one whom You have honoured above me? If You delay me until the Day of Resurrection, I will surely lead his descendants astray, except a few.”

Then I will approach them from the front, from behind, from their right, and from their left, and You will find most of them ungrateful.”

“Except Your devoted servants among them.”

Allah said, “This is the straight path leading to Me.”

“You will have no authority over My servants, except those who willingly follow you in error.”

Allah said, “Leave, despised and banished! Whoever follows you, I will fill Hell with you all.”

He was of the jinn and defied his Lord’s command. Will you then take him and his descendants as allies instead of Me, though they are your enemies? What a miserable exchange for the wrongdoers!

I did not make them witnesses to the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor to their own creation, and I would never take the misguided as assistants.

“Entice them with your voice, rally your forces against them, share in their wealth and children, and make promises to them.” But Satan only deceives.

“You will have no authority over My servants.

Tell them the story of the man to whom We gave Our signs, but he abandoned them. Satan pursued him, and he became one of the misguided.
