causing all kinds of plants to grow.

6:99He it is Who sendeth down water from the sky, and therewith We bring forth buds of every kind; We bring forth the green blade from which We bring forth the thick-clustered grain; and from the date-palm, from the pollen thereof, spring pendant bunches; and (We bring forth) gardens of grapes, and the olive and the pomegranate, alike and unlike. Look upon the fruit thereof, when they bear fruit, and upon its ripening. Lo! herein verily are portents for a people who believe.

So they may eat its fruits, though their hands did not make it. Will they not be grateful?

36:35That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks?

Allah has granted them the best provision.

And whosoever believeth in Allah and doeth right, He will bring him into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to abide for ever. Allah hath made good provision for him.

How We pour down abundant water.

80:25How We pour water in showers

Then split the earth open.

80:26Then split the earth in clefts

There are also gardens of grapevines, olives, and pomegranates, similar in shape but dissimilar in taste. Look at their fruit as it yields and ripens, every noble kind of plant!

6:99He it is Who sendeth down water from the sky, and therewith We bring forth buds of every kind; We bring forth the green blade from which We bring forth the thick-clustered grain; and from the date-palm, from the pollen thereof, spring pendant bunches; and (We bring forth) gardens of grapes, and the olive and the pomegranate, alike and unlike. 14:32Allah is He Who created the heavens and the earth, and causeth water to descend from the sky, thereby producing fruits as food for you, and maketh the ships to be of service unto you, that they may run upon the sea at His command, and hath made of service unto you the rivers;

16:11Therewith He causeth crops to grow for you, and the olive and the date-palm and grapes and all kinds of fruit. Lo! herein is indeed a portent for people who reflect.

27:60Is not He (best) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sendeth down for you water from the sky wherewith We cause to spring forth joyous orchards, whose trees it never hath been yours to cause to grow. Is there any Allah beside Allah? Nay, but they are folk who ascribe equals (unto Him)!

31:10He hath created the heavens without supports that ye can see, and hath cast into the earth firm hills, so that it quake not with you; and He hath dispersed therein all kinds of beasts. And We send down water from the sky and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein.

36:33A token unto them is the dead earth. We revive it, and We bring forth from it grain so that they eat thereof;

36:34And We have placed therein gardens of the date-palm and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein,

50:9And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops,

50:10And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters,

50:11Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead.

55:12Husked grain and scented herb.

80:27And cause the grain to grow therein

80:28And grapes and green fodder

80:29And olive-trees and palm-trees

80:30And garden-closes of thick foliage

And a tree that springs from Mount Sinai, producing oil and seasoning for those who eat.

23:20And a tree that springeth forth from Mount Sinai that groweth oil and relish for the eaters.

We bring forth the pasture, and every kind of fruit.

7:57And He it is Who sendeth the winds as tidings heralding His mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), We lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. Thus bring We forth the dead. Haply ye may remember.

13:4And in the Earth are neighbouring tracts, vineyards and ploughed lands, and date-palms, like and unlike, which are watered with one water. And we have made some of them to excel others in fruit. Lo! herein verily are portents for people who have sense.

But if We send a wind, and they see their crops wither, they remain ungrateful.

Good land produces abundantly by its Lord’s permission, while barren land yields little.

7:58As for the good land, its vegetation cometh forth by permission of its Lord; while as for that which is bad, only the useless cometh forth (from it). Thus do We recount the tokens for people who give thanks.

78:15Thereby to produce grain and plant,
