Quran 44:54 Translations ⓘ

كَذَلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُمْ بِحُورٍ عِينٍ

Transliteration

Kathalika wazawwajnahum bihoorin AAeenin

Ahmad Ali

Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes.

Ali Qarai

So shall it be, and We shall wed them to black-eyed houris.

Amhad Khan

So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes.

Arberry

Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris,

Corpus Quran

Thus. And We will marry them (to) companions with beautiful eyes.

Daryabadi

Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large- eyed.

Hilali & Khan

So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes.

Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens.
